Utah State Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Mayor Trent Staggs for Senate

RIVERTON - Today the Utah State Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Republican Senate candidate Mayor Trent Staggs. As reported by KUTV News:

"The Utah Fraternal Order of Police unanimously endorses Trent Staggs for United States Senate," FOP union president Brent Jex said in a statement. "Mayor Staggs has been a longtime support of law enforcement and specifically the FOP. He continually shows through words and actions what it means to support law enforcement and he received the unanimous endorsement of our executive board and trustees."

KUTV interviewed the FOP on their support for Staggs, who has a long record of supporting law enforcement and the rule of law.

This is in contrast to Sen. Mitt Romney’s decision in march with BLM rioters in 2020.
