On Trump Indictment: Mitt Romney "Has No Backbone"

RIVERTON -Mayor Trent Staggs slammed Sen. Mitt Romney for his reaction to the Biden Administration's political persecution of former President Donald Trump. Romney said that Trump brought the "banana republic"-style political harassment "upon himself."

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart, Staggs said:

Staggs accused President Joe Biden of “abusing his power to weaponize the Justice Department against a political opponent.”

And — yet again — Mitt Romney gives a milquetoast response, showing us once more, he has no backbone,” Staggs said.

“For him, the Senate is about settling his petty beefs, not upholding the Constitution,” he concluded.
